Karan Arjun

Durga is a desperate mother whose sons Karan and Arjun have been brutally murdered by the evil Thakur Durjan Singh (Amrish Puri). Durga’s faith in Goddess Kali is as unshakeable as is her faith that her sons will be restored to her It is said that faith can move mountains, and so Durga’s undying faith shakes the cosmos. Her prayers are heard, her wishes granted. The impossible becomes possible. Karan and Arjun are reborn as Ajay (Salman Khan) and Vijay (Shah Rukh Khan) to different mothers. Ajay is a great fighter while Vijay is a great rider. Divine intervention brings the brothers together, unknowing of their true identity. While Ajay has an admirer in Bindiya (Mamta Kulkarni); Vijay is in love with Sonia who is engaged to Suraj, Durjan’s son. Unwittingly, the brothers get into a fierce fight, but divine intervention, again forces them apart. As Sonia is spirited away to Durjan Singh’s haveli in the barren desert for her wedding, Vijay follows in hot pursuit. As he reaches the land where Durga waits in eternal hope, the veil of lost memory is lifted. He remembers the past and Durga is reunited with one son at least. But what about Ajay? When will he realise that he is none other than Karan? Will Durga’s prayers be answered and will her Karan Arjun together destroy the evil Durjan Singh?
