Kishen and Kanhaiya are identical twins who are separated, but can bond telepathically. Kishen lives in the ancestral haveli with his paralysed father Seth Sunder Das and is treated like a slave by Genda Mal and his coterie. Kanhaiya is taken to the city by Bholaram and his wife. He grows into a golden hearted vagabond, with all the mannerisms of a hero.
